It encompasses the Imperial City, with palaces and shrines; the Forbidden Purple City, once the emperor’s home; and a replica of the Royal Theater.
La Vang church is a regular stop on the route from Phong Nha to Hue. Locates 40 kilometers from Hue City, the church refers to a reported Virgin Mary apparition at a time when Catholics were persecuted and killed in Vietnam. The church is highlight by the Shrine of Our Lady of La Vang (Mother Maria).
Next stop is Hien Luong Bridge, Ben Hai River. Hien Luong Bridge is a bridge over Ben Hai River, Vinh Linh District, Quang Tri Province, North Central Coast, Viet Nam. This bridge locates in 17th Parallel and in Vietnam War. It was bisected between South Vietnam and North Vietnam.
One of other stops you can do is Vinh Moc tunnels. Vinh Moc is a tunnel complex in Quang Tri, Vietnam. During the Vietnam War, it is strategically location on the border of North Vietnam and South Vietnam. The tunnels were built to shelter people from the intense bombing of Son Trung and Son Ha communes in Vinh Linh county of Quang Tri Province in the Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone.
